Description

Rover Robotics Mission: Build, Code, Explore!

Grades 3–6 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Get ready to think like an engineer, programmer, and space explorer! In this exciting hands-on STEM program, students will design, build, code, and test their own rovers and robotic devices while tackling fun challenges inspired by real-world robotics and exploration missions.

Throughout the program, participants will learn how robots and rovers are used to solve problems, explore difficult environments, and complete important tasks here on Earth and beyond. Using robotics kits and coding tools, students will build robotic creations, program them to move and respond to commands, and test their performance through a variety of engaging missions and obstacle courses.

As they experiment and improve their designs, students will explore STEM concepts including engineering, coding, sensors, motion, teamwork, and the engineering design process. They will discover how testing, troubleshooting, and redesigning help engineers create successful technologies, while developing valuable problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

No prior experience is required - just curiosity and a willingness to learn! Whether students are new to robotics or already enjoy building and coding, this program offers an exciting opportunity to explore technology through hands-on challenges and creative innovation.
