Do you have what it takes to be the next great inventor? In this exciting four-day STEM program, students will become engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs as they work together to solve real-world problems through creativity, innovation, and hands-on building. Using materials such as cardboard, recycled items, craft supplies, and other everyday tools, participants will design, construct, test, and improve original inventions that address challenges facing people, communities, or the environment.
Throughout the week, students will explore the engineering design process as they identify problems, brainstorm solutions, create prototypes, test their ideas, and make improvements based on feedback and results. Campers will strengthen important STEM skills including critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and perseverance while learning how inventors and entrepreneurs turn ideas into reality.
As their projects take shape, students will also develop communication and presentation skills by learning how to explain their ideas, highlight the benefits of their inventions, and persuade others of their value. On the final day, teams will showcase their creations in a fun and exciting Shark Tank-style pitch presentation, where they will present their invention to judges, answer questions, and demonstrate how their solution can make a positive impact.
This program combines engineering, creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurship in a fun, supportive environment where every great idea has a chance to shine.
