From investigating pumpkins and leaves to building structures and solving holiday-inspired engineering challenges, participants will discover how STEM connects to the world around them.
Throughout the day, students will think like scientists and engineers as they test, build, create, and explore. Activities may include pumpkin investigations, turkey-themed engineering challenges, fall-themed chemistry experiments, and problem-solving activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Participants will learn about nature, seasons, agriculture, and the science behind many of the traditions and foods associated with Thanksgiving.
